DESCRIPTION – S51 ADVENTURE AIRBAG-READY PANTS
The “S” stands for SAFEST, because this is the same chassis that becomes safer than our Airbag Jeans once you equip it with the Mo’cycle® Airbag and 6× impact protectors (sold separately) – and those jeans previously held the “world’s safest” title.
FortNine called our Airbag Jeans “The Safest Pants Ever Made, a fact” after their in-depth video review. They later won “Safest Motorcycle Jeans 2025” and the “Best Traffic Safety Innovation” award from the French government’s Sécurité Routière.

The S51 is an evolution of that platform, built to become one of the safest motorcycle pants on the market when fully equipped with the airbag and protectors. This is core hardware for Mo’cycle Riders, Impact Sliders and the wider Airbag Generation – riders who refuse to treat safety like an afterthought.

These pants are made for riders who want to come home in one piece – long-distance riders, commuters, tourers, ADV explorers and anyone who has had one too many close calls and decided that “next time” they want a different outcome.

S51 – 6 RIDING MODES
The S51 is a transformer pant with six different configurations:

1. Pant Mode – Full impact safety (when you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag + protectors) and AAA-rated abrasion resistance.
2. Hi-Vis Mode – Add hi-vis panels (add-on) for high visibility plus full impact & abrasion protection (with airbag + protectors installed).
3. Shorts Mode – Zip off the lower legs for full ventilation and approximately 2/3 abrasion resistance over the shorts zone.
4. Ventilation Mode – Legs on, vents open – ventilation plus full impact (with airbag + protectors) and abrasion protection.
5. Casual Pant – Use them as abrasion-resistant adventure pants without the airbag installed.
6. Casual Shorts – Use them as abrasion-resistant shorts (legs off, no airbag) with approximately 2/3 abrasion protection.

The S51 is a transformer pant that can turn into the world’s first airbag-ready impact shorts. Once you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag, the impact protection stays wrapped around your hips, thighs and tailbone – even in shorts mode. For riders who live in hot climates or do slow technical riding, that means you no longer have to choose between airflow and impact coverage.

PROTECTION
Out of the box, the S51 Adventure Airbag-Ready Pants are high-end abrasion-resistant pants with AAA-rated abrasion protection. To unlock all 51 rider-focused benefits and all 6 modes in their full potential, you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag module, impact protectors and other add-ons over time.
The pant comes pre-engineered with airbag zippers to accept the Mo’cycle® Airbag (sold separately). When you install the module, you simply clip the mechanical tether to your bike and you’re armed.

Just a fully mechanical system that works like a “dead man’s switch”. If you part ways with the bike in a crash, the tether triggers the airbag in milliseconds and wraps your hips, thighs and tailbone in a big, pressurized cushion of air, working together with the knee, shin, hip and leg impact protectors (add-ons). Impact energy is managed by the airbag and armor instead of going straight into your bones.
