DESCRIPTION - EMMA AIRBAG-READY PANTS
The Emma Airbag-Ready Pants take the same women-specific fit as our Ava and Touran silhouettes and rebuild it in a black-coated, AA-rated Armalith® denim that is both abrasion-resistant and water-repellent. They look like sleek black moto pants you can wear all day, but underneath the coating you have CE-certified motorcycle denim engineered for real-world slides on real asphalt.
The stretch fabric and women-specific pattern give room in the thighs and knees so you can move naturally on and off the bike. Emma is built on the same airbag platform as our award-winning Airbag Jeans and Adventure Pants. Once you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag module and impact protectors (sold separately), Emma plugs into the same lower-body safety platform that independent reviewers have highlighted in their testing and awards.
For Mo’cycle Riders, Impact Sliders and the wider Airbag Generation, Emma is the “all-black everything” option: city-ready from the outside, airbag-ready on the inside – made for riders who actually want to come back home after a ride.

Knowing that the airbag is designed to help manage impact energy in a way that regular armor alone cannot, many riders report a mental shift – they relax more, enjoy the ride more and feel safer in traffic, even in bad weather. You still ride with full awareness that no system can remove all risk, but you know your lower body has backup designed for the crashes that actually happen.

Airbag & Protection

PROTECTION/ SAFETY & PERFORMANCE
Out of the box, the Emma Airbag-Ready Pants are AA-rated abrasion pants in coated Armalith® motorcycle denim – a single-layer black material that looks like premium jeans but is engineered for high-speed slide performance and light-rain use. To unlock the full lower-body impact safety concept, you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag module and CE impact protectors (sold separately).

The pants come with a built-in airbag zipper channel along the inner waist to install the Mo’cycle® Airbag when needed. Once the module is installed, you simply clip the mechanical tether to your bike and the system is armed. There are no batteries,
no charging and no app – it is a purely mechanical trigger that works like a “dead man’s switch”. If you separate from the bike hard enough to reach the activation window, the airbag is designed to deploy in milliseconds and form a pressurized air volume around your lower back, hips, thighs and tailbone,
working together with the traditional knee/shin and hipprotectors (add-ons).

In a suitable crash scenario, this setup is intended to help manage impact energy by spreading forces through both the airbag and the armor instead of concentrating them on one point of your body. As with all motorcycle safety equipment, no system can eliminate the risk of injury or guarantee a specific outcome. With the Airbag-Ready version you have, already built in:
• AA-rated Armalith® denim – CE-certified EN 17092-3:2020.
• Water-repellent black coating – Helps shed light rain and road spray.
• Airbag-ready construction – Side zip channels for the Mo’cycle® Airbag (add-on).

BEFORE DEPLYMENT: The comfort comes from the flat, soft, flexible construction that feels like regular clothing and ventilates like shorts, so after a minute of wearing it, you forget it’s there. Until the moment it’s needed.

DEPLOYMENT: It wraps your lower body in a powerful 360° airbag, firm enough to absorb impact, soft enough to give your body "the hug of safety", helping reduce violent hits, limit twisting, and create vital distance from the asphalt (especially for your knees) when everything happens at once. RELOAD & RIDE AGAIN

The Mo’cycle® airbag module is reusable, provided it remains structurally intact after a crash. The airbag itself is designed to withstand one real-world crash.

The CO₂ cartridge is the consumable part; If you have been in a high-speed crash, replace the complete airbag system. If the crash was a minor incident at low-speed with no visible damage to the airbag, cartridge area, fabric or stitching, carefully inspect it – test inflate with a spare cartridge and inspect the airbag while inflated as well. When in doubt, treat it as a high-speed crash and replace the full airbag system anyway.

Inspect the garment and airbag - Check that nothing is broken, torn or heavily abraded, test inflate and inspect as well.
Replace the spent CO₂ cartridge - Use a new cartridge of the correct size.
