DESCRIPTION Geranemo Airbag Outfit 2-Piece

The Geranemo Airbag Outfit 2-Piece is a full upper- and lower-body airbag system built around two core garments: the Liam Airbag Vest for your chest, spine and neck, and the Melvin Airbag Jeans for your hips, thighs and tailbone. Together with the Impact Backup V1 lower-body airbag module, KNOX Micro-Lock® hip, knee/shin and back pads, it turns you into a moving safety stack while you still look like a rider in a vest and black jeans – not a crash-test dummy.

Liam wraps your chest, ribs, spine, collarbone and neck area in an upper-body airbag built in AA-rated denim, with a Level 2 back pad sitting on the outside of the air bladder for the Mo’cycle “sandwich” effect. Melvin uses AA-rated, black-coated Armalith® denim to surround your lumbar spine, hips, thighs and tailbone with a lower-body airbag channel and impact protectors – built on the same platform as the pants reviewers have called “the safest pants ever made, a fact”.

Most riders know what a jacket and jeans feel like. Geranemo feels different: your neck and spine are braced by an upper-body airbag and back pad, while your hips, thighs and tailbone ride inside a lower-body airbag and armor system. You clip in, roll out, and there’s a quiet sense that if something does go wrong, an entire hidden system is ready to react in your favor.

Instead of normal jeans and hope, you feel the weight of real materials – AA-rated denim, Armalith®, Micro-Lock® armor, CO₂ and air – working for you. From the outside you still look like a rider in a vest and clean black jeans. ONE AIRBAG – MULTIPLE GARMENTS

The Impact Backup V1 lower-body airbag module is compatible with Mo’cycle® Airbag Jeans, Pants and Shorts that use the 60 cc hip/thigh module – including Melvin today and other models in your system wardrobe tomorrow. You can move a single module between compatible garments to match your ride, season or style – one airbag, multiple outfits.

Liam, as an upper-body airbag vest, is designed to sit over many different jackets. That means the same trusted upper-body airbag can follow you from your leather jacket to your textile shell or hoodie-style jacket, while Melvin handles the lower-body side of the system.

PROTECTION

Liam surrounds your torso with an upper-body airbag (around 17 liters when deployed, size-dependent) and supports the neck by building a firm collar around the base of the helmet when it inflates, aiming to reduce violent whiplash-type movement. A KNOX Micro-Lock® Level 2 back pad sits on the outside of the airbag inside an AA-rated denim shell, forming the outer layer of the upper-body protection stack.

Melvin uses AA-rated, black-coated Armalith® denim to provide abrasion resistance, with the Impact Backup V1 module zipping into an inner channel to surround hips, thighs, lumbar area and tailbone with an airbag. KNOX Micro-Lock® hip pads and Level 2 knee & shin pads add hard impact layers in the zones that most often hit the ground first. Together, the idea is simple: let denim and armor meet the environment first and drive energy into the airbag volumes, so air and inner structure can help spread and manage the hit instead of letting it focus on one spot.

No gear can guarantee injury-free outcomes, but combining airbags, CE armor and AA-rated outer fabrics is designed to give you a far better chance than riding in standard clothing in many real-world crash scenarios.

We start production from the very beginning: spinning thread, preparing materials, and building the fabric that combines cotton with UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) fibers for extreme abrasion performance. Then comes the airbag manufacturing, assembly, testing and CE-related processes.

This is a multi-step build. We are not Amazon.

RELOAD & RIDE AGAIN

The Mo’cycle® airbag module is reusable, provided it remains structurally intact after a crash. The airbag itself is designed to withstand one real-world crash.

The CO₂ cartridge is the consumable part; If you have been in a high-speed crash, replace the complete airbag system. If the crash was a minor incident at low-speed with no visible damage to the airbag, cartridge area, fabric or stitching, carefully inspect it – test inflate with a spare cartridge and inspect the airbag while inflated as well. When in doubt, treat it as a high-speed crash and replace the full airbag system anyway.

Inspect the garment and airbag - Check that nothing is broken, torn or heavily abraded, test inflate and inspect as well.
Replace the spent CO₂ cartridge - Use a new cartridge of the correct size.

Re-arm the trigger - Follow the instructions for your model.
Clip back in and you are ready for the next ride.

Mo’cycle designed and invented the lower-body airbag module. To manufacture it at the level a life-saving device demands, we partnered with Helite in France, a specialist airbag company with R&D, labs, manufacturing, and quality control based in Dijon, France.

Mo’cycle invention - Helite production: we own the design; Helite manufactures it for us.
Made in France & final quality control in Sweden: Helite finalizes the airbag module in France with quality controls before sending it to us in Sweden for final quality checks.
