Patrick is our raw-denim airbag model – a pair of jeans that starts deep, inky blue and slowly turns into your own vintage fade. This is true denim culture: the color will wear in at the thighs, knees, wallet and seat, tracing every ride and every step you take. After a couple of seasons they’ll have that classic worn-in blue look – but unlike normal jeans that often blow out at the crotch or knee, Patrick is built in AAA-rated Armalith® motorcycle denim, engineered for high abrasion resistance in real slides. You shape the color; the jeans are designed to stay structurally robust within their certified limits.

Under the raw 5-pocket look you have CE-certified motorcycle denim and a straight men’s fit with room in the thighs so you can move naturally on and off the bike without feeling tight or restrictive. Patrick is built on the same airbag platform as our award-winning Airbag Jeans and Adventure Pants – and here, the full system is already included. With the Mo’cycle® Airbag module and impact protectors installed, Patrick belongs to the same lower-body safety family reviewers have called “The Safest Pants Ever Made, a fact” and that has received multiple international traffic-safety awards.

A NEW FEELING
Riding in Patrick with the Mo’cycle® Airbag installed is a different feeling. Your lumbar spine, hips, thighs and tailbone are surrounded by a pressurized air cushion that works together with the impact pads, creating a double-layer lower-body safety concept instead of relying on armor alone.

Knowing that the system is designed to help manage impact energy in a more advanced way than pads alone, many riders report a mental shift – you relax more, enjoy the ride more and feel calmer in traffic and on longer trips. Patrick is designed to feel like a pair of raw jeans you’d happily wear for years, even when you’re not riding:

• Mid-rise men’s waist – sits comfortably on the hips, high enough to feel secure on the bike, low enough to feel casual off it.
• Shaped back rise – helps the jeans stay in place when you lean forward, with covered lower back.
• Straight men’s leg – classic silhouette that works with most boots and riding shoes.
• Stretch Armalith® denim – supports natural movement when walking, commuting, sitting at work or throwing a leg over the bike.
• Long-term raw-denim evolution – whiskers, honeycombs and wallet fades appear over time, creating a visual map of your body motion on a pair of jeans designed to handle typical stress points better than regular fashion denim.

PROTECTION
Out of the box, the Patrick Airbag Jeans provide a combined system of impact safety and abrasion resistance when used with the included airbag and impact protectors:

• AAA-rated Armalith® motorcycle denim – single-layer raw denim, engineered for high-speed abrasion performance in the certified zones (CE EN 17092-2:2020).
• Integrated Mo’cycle® Airbag Module – CE-certified to PAC-002:12/2024 and EN 17092-4:2020 (Class A) when used as part of the approved garment system.
• KNOX Micro-Lock impact protectors:
o 2 × knee/shin impact protectors – CE EN 1621-1:2012, K/L Type B, Level 2.
o 2 × hip impact protectors – CE EN 1621-1:2012, H Type A, Level 1.

ONE AIRBAG – MULTIPLE JEANS & PANTS
The included Mo’cycle® Airbag Module is fully compatible across a range of Mo’cycle® Airbag Jeans and Pants – including Melvin, Kian, Patrick, Ava, Emma, Touran and the Adventure Pants & Shorts.

This lets you build a flexible Airbag Glider wardrobe instead of starting from zero with every new garment.

The jeans come with a built-in airbag zipper channel along the inner waist to house the Mo’cycle® Airbag. When the module is installed and the tether is correctly attached to the bike, clipping in arms the system.

If you separate from the motorcycle with sufficient force in a crash scenario, the tether pulls the mechanical trigger, activating the CO₂ cartridge. The airbag inflates in milliseconds and forms a pressurized cushion of air around your lower back, hips, thighs and tailbone, working together with the knee/shin and hip impact protectors. Impact energy is then managed by both the airbag and the armor rather than being transmitted directly to the body.

We start production from the very beginning: spinning thread, preparing materials, and building the fabric that combines cotton with UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) fibers for extreme abrasion performance. Then comes the airbag manufacturing, assembly, testing and CE-related processes.

This is a multi-step build. We are not Amazon.

BEFORE DEPLYMENT: The comfort comes from the flat, soft, flexible construction that feels like regular clothing and ventilates like shorts, so after a minute of wearing it, you forget it’s there. Until the moment it’s needed.

DEPLOYMENT: It wraps your lower body in a powerful 360° airbag, firm enough to absorb impact, soft enough to give your body "the hug of safety", helping reduce violent hits, limit twisting, and create vital distance from the asphalt (especially for your knees) when everything happens at once. Mo’cycle designed and invented the lower-body airbag module. To manufacture it at the level a life-saving device demands, we partnered with Helite in France, a specialist airbag company with R&D, labs, manufacturing, and quality control based in Dijon, France.

Mo’cycle invention - Helite production: we own the design; Helite manufactures it for us.
Made in France & final quality control in Sweden: Helite finalizes the airbag module in France with quality controls before sending it to us in Sweden for final quality checks.

Mechanical trigger (no batteries)

RELOAD & RIDE AGAIN

The Mo’cycle® airbag module is reusable, provided it remains structurally intact after a crash. The airbag itself is designed to withstand one real-world crash.

The CO₂ cartridge is the consumable part; If you have been in a high-speed crash, replace the complete airbag system. If the crash was a minor incident at low-speed with no visible damage to the airbag, cartridge area, fabric or stitching, carefully inspect it – test inflate with a spare cartridge and inspect the airbag while inflated as well. When in doubt, treat it as a high-speed crash and replace the full airbag system anyway.

Inspect the garment and airbag - Check that nothing is broken, torn or heavily abraded, test inflate and inspect as well.
Replace the spent CO₂ cartridge - Use a new cartridge of the correct size.

Re-arm the trigger - Follow the instructions for your model.
Clip back in and you are ready for the next ride.
