DESCRIPTION - BACK PAD BIG 115
Knox Micro-Lock® Back Pad 115 / 114 – CE Level 2.
This back pad is a soft, low-profile insert selected to enhance back safety in Mo’cycle® garments – especially when combined with the Liam Airbag Vest and a Mo’cycle® jacket. It is designed to contribute to a higher overall safety level for the spine when used as part of a complete rider setup. For Mo’cycle Riders, Impact Sliders and the Airbag Generation, this is one of those quiet upgrades that turns normal-looking gear into part of a serious protection system.

BUILT FOR THE MO’CYCLE “SANDWICH” SYSTEM
The pad is designed to work together with the Liam Airbag Vest and Mo’cycle® jackets in a layered safety concept.

• Liam Airbag Vest: Built in AA-rated motorcycle denim, with the vest back pad positioned on the outside of the airbag, closest to the environment.
• Mo’cycle® jackets: Also built in AA-rated denim, with a back pad sitting inside the jacket, in the protector pocket, closer to the body.

When you wear jacket + vest + both pads, the back area is configured as:
Environment → AA denim vest shell → Vest Back Pad → Airbag (Liam) → AA denim jacket shell → Jacket Back Pad → Rider

This setup provides:
• Two layers of AA-rated denim for abrasion resistance.
• Two Micro-Lock® back pads to help spread and slow impact forces.
• An airbag layer in the middle to help manage and distribute impact energy over a wider area.

This is the intended “maximum-safety sandwich”: the AA denim and vest back pad meet the environment first, the airbag helps soften and spread the blow, and the inner jacket pad is the final shield before your spine.

For a lighter configuration, you can use:
• Vest + vest back pad + airbag, and a jacket without a back pad.

In that case, the vest back pad and outer denim are the first contact with the environment, and the airbag behind them helps manage impact energy before it reaches the body. In all setups, the system is intended so that the outer denim and pad help shield the airbag, and the airbag then helps manage impact forces before they reach the spine. No equipment can guarantee injury prevention, but layered systems like this aim to reduce injury risk and improve overall safety performance for riders who actually want to come back home after a ride.

SIZING & COMPATIBILITY
• Part 115 (big back pad): Intended for Mo’cycle® vests and jackets in sizes M, L, XL, XXL.
• Part 114 (small back pad): Intended for XS and S vests and jackets.

You can place the appropriate size in any Mo’cycle® garment that includes a back-protector pocket, following the garment’s instructions for installation. Choosing the correct size helps the pad sit where it should, so the Mo’cycle “sandwich” concept works as intended.

INCLUDED VS OPTIONAL

• Back pad included: The correct Knox Micro-Lock® back pad size is already included with every Liam Vest.
• When to buy this: Buy this product if you need a spare or replacement back pad.

• Mo’cycle® Jackets (Aura, Terraine, etc.)
• Standard jackets: Generally do not include a back pad by default.
• Moto Pack jackets: Include this back pad together with shoulder and elbow impact protectors.
• Upgrade path: If you have a non–Moto Pack jacket and want CE-certified back impact performance, you can add this pad separately in the correct size.

In practice, this pad is how you complete the back-protection story in a Mo’cycle jacket – especially powerful when combined with a Liam Airbag Vest over the top as part of a full upper-body system.

We do not mass-produce, everything is made upon pre-order. We hope you understand the multi-step manufacturing processes involved in creating Airbags, CE certifications and so on, if not, please do not consider making a pre-order from us. We are not Amazon. RELOAD & RIDE AGAIN

The Mo’cycle® airbag module is reusable, provided it remains structurally intact after a crash. The airbag itself is designed to withstand one real-world crash.

The CO₂ cartridge is the consumable part; If you have been in a high-speed crash, replace the complete airbag system. If the crash was a minor incident at low-speed with no visible damage to the airbag, cartridge area, fabric or stitching, carefully inspect it – test inflate with a spare cartridge and inspect the airbag while inflated as well. When in doubt, treat it as a high-speed crash and replace the full airbag system anyway.

Inspect the garment and airbag - Check that nothing is broken, torn or heavily abraded, test inflate and inspect as well.
Replace the spent CO₂ cartridge - Use a new cartridge of the correct size.

Re-arm the trigger - Follow the instructions for your model.
Clip back in and you are ready for the next ride.
