DESCRIPTION – TOURAN AIRBAG-READY JEANS

The Touran Airbag-Ready Jeans are built for real-world miles, a clean, timeless blue jean with serious motorcycle DNA underneath. Made from AAA-rated Armalith® denim, they look and feel like a quality pair of everyday jeans, but are certified to one of the highest abrasion levels for motorcycle use. The denim has comfortable stretch and a rider-oriented fit that gives room in the thighs and knees so you can move naturally on and off the bike.

Touran is our raw-denim airbag model, a pair of jeans that starts deep, inky blue and slowly turns into your own vintage fade. This is true denim culture: the color will wear in at the thighs, knees, wallet and seat, tracing every ride and every step you take. After a couple of seasons they’ll have that classic worn-in blue look, but unlike normal jeans that blow out at the crotch or knee, Touran is built in AAA-rated Armalith® motorcycle denim, engineered not to tear apart easily in a slide. You shape the color; the jeans stay structurally robust within their certified limits.

Touran is built on the same airbag platform as our award-winning Airbag Jeans and Adventure Pants. Once you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag module and impact protectors (sold separately), Touran steps into the same safety family reviewers have described as “The Safest Pants Ever Made, a fact” and that has won multiple international traffic-safety awards.

FIT

Touran is designed to feel like the jeans you actually want to wear for a full day in the saddle – not just “gear you tolerate”:

Mid-rise waist – sits comfortably on the hips; high enough to feel secure on the bike, low enough to feel casual off it.
Shaped back rise – stays in place when you lean forward to the bars so your lower back stays covered.
Straight / slightly relaxed leg – works with most riding boots and shoes.
Stretch Armalith® denim – gives a natural feel when walking, commuting, sitting in meetings or throwing a leg over the bike.

When you upgrade your Touran Jeans with the Mo’cycle® Airbag, the feeling changes. You ride with airbag coverage around your lumbar spine, hips, thighs and tailbone, and that can create real peace of mind. Knowing the airbag is designed to help cushion an impact in ways regular armor cannot, something often shifts mentally – you may relax more, enjoy the ride more and feel calmer in traffic and on long days in the saddle.

Airbag & Protection

PROTECTION
Out of the box, the Touran Airbag-Ready Jeans are AAA-rated abrasion jeans in Armalith® motorcycle denim – a single-layer denim that looks like normal jeans but is engineered for high-speed slides (CE EN 17092-2:2020). To unlock full impact-safety performance, you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag module and impact protectors (sold separately).

The jeans come with a built-in airbag zipper channel along the inner waist to install the Mo’cycle® Airbag when needed. When the module is installed, you simply clip the mechanical tether to your bike and you’re armed. No batteries, no charging, no app – just a fully mechanical system that works like a “dead man’s switch”.

If you part ways with the bike in a crash, the airbag is designed to fire in milliseconds and form a pressurized cushion of air around your lower back, hips, thighs and tailbone, working together with the traditional knee & shin and hip protectors (add-ons). Impact energy is managed and spread through the airbag and armor instead of going straight into bone and joints.

With the Airbag-Ready version you already have:

AAA-rated Armalith® denim – CE-certified EN 17092-2:2020.
Airbag-ready construction – zip channels for the Mo’cycle® Airbag (add-on).
Protector pockets – for knee & shin and hip pads (pads sold separately).
Mid-rise waist – stays up when you lean forward, helping to avoid a gap at the back.

If you ride without the airbag and protectors installed, your safety performance comes from the AAA-rated abrasion resistance of the Armalith® motorcycle denim only.

We start production from the very beginning: spinning thread, preparing materials, and building the fabric that combines cotton with UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) fibers for extreme abrasion performance. Then comes the airbag manufacturing, assembly, testing and CE-related processes.

This is a multi-step build. We are not Amazon.

BEFORE DEPLYMENT: The comfort comes from the flat, soft, flexible construction that feels like regular clothing and ventilates like shorts, so after a minute of wearing it, you forget it’s there. Until the moment it’s needed.

RELOAD & RIDE AGAIN

The Mo’cycle® airbag module is reusable, provided it remains structurally intact after a crash. The airbag itself is designed to withstand one real-world crash.

The CO₂ cartridge is the consumable part; If you have been in a high-speed crash, replace the complete airbag system. If the crash was a minor incident at low-speed with no visible damage to the airbag, cartridge area, fabric or stitching, carefully inspect it – test inflate with a spare cartridge and inspect the airbag while inflated as well. When in doubt, treat it as a high-speed crash and replace the full airbag system anyway.

Inspect the garment and airbag - Check that nothing is broken, torn or heavily abraded, test inflate and inspect as well.
Replace the spent CO₂ cartridge - Use a new cartridge of the correct size.
