DESCRIPTION – AVA AIRBAG-READY JEANS (WOMEN)
The Ava Airbag-Ready Jeans combine a clean, timeless blue denim look with serious, AAA-rated motorcycle abrasion resistance. Made from Armalith® motorcycle denim, they look and feel like a favourite pair of women’s jeans, but the main fabric is certified to one of the highest abrasion levels for motorcycle use. The stretch denim follows the female curves comfortably and is designed for everyday wear on and off the bike – no “robot pants”, just real jeans that happen to be built for crashes.

Ava is built on the same airbag platform as our award-winning Airbag Jeans and Adventure Pants. Once you add the Mo’cycle® Airbag module and impact protectors (sold separately), Ava steps into the same safety platform that has received strong third-party recognition in international traffic-safety contexts.

When you upgrade your Ava Jeans with the Mo’cycle® Airbag, the riding experience changes. You are airbag-covered around your lumbar spine, hips, thighs and tailbone, which can contribute to a higher feeling of safety. Many riders say that knowing an airbag is there to help manage impact energy in ways traditional armor alone cannot makes them feel calmer in traffic, more focused and more able to enjoy the ride – especially when conditions are not perfect.

Ava is designed to feel like a pair of jeans you would genuinely choose even on days when you are not riding.

Mid-rise women’s waist – Sits comfortably between hips and natural waist; high enough to feel secure on the bike, low enough to feel casual off it.
Shaped back rise – Designed to stay in place when you lean forward, helping to avoid gaps at the lower back.
Straight, slightly slim leg – Flatters the legs and works with most boots and shoes.
Stretch motorcycle denim – Built-in stretch so walking, commuting, sitting at a café or throwing a leg over the bike feels natural, not stiff.

From behind and from the side, Ava just looks like a good pair of women’s blue jeans. Only you know they are designed for motorcycle use and ready to house a full lower-body airbag system.

Airbag & Protection

PROTECTION/ SAFETY PERFORMANCE
Out of the box, the Ava Airbag-Ready Jeans provide AAA-rated abrasion resistance through Armalith® motorcycle denim – a single-layer fabric that looks like regular denim but is engineered and CE-certified for high-speed slide situations.

To add impact safety, you install the Mo’cycle® Airbag module and impact protectors (sold separately). The jeans come with a built-in airbag zipper channel along the inner waist to house the Mo’cycle® Airbag when needed. Once the module is installed, you clip the mechanical tether to your bike to arm the system. There are no batteries, no charging and no app – the mechanical setup is designed to work like a “dead man’s switch”.

If you separate from the bike in a crash-level event, the airbag is designed to inflate within fractions of a second and form an air-filled structure around your lower back, hips, thighs and tailbone, working together with the knee & shin and hip impact protectors (add-ons). In this setup, impact energy is managed by a combination of:

AAA-rated Armalith® abrasion resistance (EN 17092-2:2020).
Airbag-ready construction with side zip channels for the Mo’cycle® Airbag (add-on).
Dedicated protector pockets for knee & shin and hip pads (pads sold separately).
A women-specific pattern designed to keep the jeans in place when you lean forward, with a mid-rise waist and curve-following fit.

If you ride without the airbag and impact protectors installed, your safety performance comes from the abrasion resistance of the Armalith® motorcycle denim only. No garment or airbag can guarantee injury prevention, but Ava is designed to improve both abrasion and impact-safety levels compared to regular fashion jeans when fully equipped and used correctly.

ONE AIRBAG – MULTIPLE JEANS & PANTS (MODULE SOLD SEPARATELY) The Mo’cycle® Airbag Module (sold separately) is fully compatible across all Mo’cycle® Airbag Jeans and Pants — including Melvin, Kian, Patrick, Ava, Emma, Touran and the Adventure Pants & Shorts. Once you own the module, you can move it between garments to match your ride and your wardrobe, instead of buying multiple airbags for different outfits.

RELOAD & RIDE AGAIN

The Mo’cycle® airbag module is reusable, provided it remains structurally intact after a crash. The airbag itself is designed to withstand one real-world crash.

The CO₂ cartridge is the consumable part; If you have been in a high-speed crash, replace the complete airbag system. If the crash was a minor incident at low-speed with no visible damage to the airbag, cartridge area, fabric or stitching, carefully inspect it – test inflate with a spare cartridge and inspect the airbag while inflated as well. When in doubt, treat it as a high-speed crash and replace the full airbag system anyway.

Inspect the garment and airbag - Check that nothing is broken, torn or heavily abraded, test inflate and inspect as well.
Replace the spent CO₂ cartridge - Use a new cartridge of the correct size.
